Weird Tales

Issue 365, cover art by Lynne Hansen

I am extremely excited to be in the latest edition of Weird Tales alongside a fantastic line up. Thanks to editor Jonathan Maeberry for including my story, ‘Tales From Alexandria’.

Jonathan took over as editor of the latest incarnation of the iconic magazine in 2019. As a teen I was a huge fan of Ray Bradbury’s short stories, so to a footnote in the pages of a magazine that published his work is a big thrill.

Issue 365 is available for pre-order now.

Auction for the Ukraine

Johnny Mains, well known author, editor, and genre historian, has arranged an online auction to raised proceeds for the Red Cross Ukraine appeal.

Bidders will donate directly to the Red Cross and most of the lots will be sent out directly from the donors.

There are some fantastic things on sale- art, books, bluerays, and scripts. For example there are signed novels from Lucie McKnight Hardy, Laura Purcell, Alison Moore, Ramsey Campbell, Kim Newman, and Andrew Michael Hurley, to name a few.

The auction runs until 12 th March 2022. Have a look here:

I have added to lots. Lot 21 is a signed copy of the paperback version of All the Fabulous Beasts. The other is Lot 64 is a signed copy of Ormeshadow and an unframed A4 print by John Jude Palencar. The print is from the artwork for Rag and Bone, a short story of mine that appeared on Tor.com.

I’ll send the items out at the start of April.
